USM Haller

Modular furniture in timeless designs, that is the principle behind USM since its inception over 40 years ago. Furniture for the home and office environments, created from just a few basic elements. This system provides tailor-made solutions, capable of expanding or being reconfigured at any time. Each piece of furniture allows room for individual versatility and creativity. USM Modular Furniture has its origins in architecture. Engineer Paul Schärer and architect Fritz Haller collaborated in developing a system of furniture based on modular architectural structures combining elegance and technical perfection. Today it is considered a design classic and has been acquired for the permanent design collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. These are the desks to mate with the modular cabinets we have in stock as well. Geiger

In 1964, John Geiger began Interiors International Limitedin Toronto, CAN with four craftsmen. Quickly gaining momentum, the company moved from their 2,000 square-foot building into a state-of-the-art 105,000 square-foot manufacturing facility by 1974, just ten years after their humble beginnings. The name Geiger International was introduced in 1986 and the company was still holding concern with the environment and the company's footprint upon it. Another ten years and the company formed an association with Herman Miller, eventually being acquired by them with several furniture lines. From day one Geiger, through its various stages has been winning awards with design and environmental impact upon it. In 2010, two Perfect Vision 2020 goals were met: zero landfill and 100% green electrical energy. We are happy to be holding some of this fine furniture in our stock.
